Overview
POF7500-24PGF-2TF-L2M: 24-Port Gigabit Managed PoF Switch | 500m Power+Data over Hybrid Fiber | IEEE 802.3af/at & YD/T 4305.1-2023 Certified | 2×10G SFP+ Uplinks
Features
Cost-Effective 500m PoF: Full Power+Data at Gigabit Speed
Delivers 1G data + up to 30W DC power over one SC-type hybrid cable, compliant with YD/T 4305.1-2023. Ideal for environments where 2.5G is unnecessary — such as K–12 schools, clinics, or municipalities deploying standard IP cameras, VoIP phones, or 1G Wi-Fi 5/6 APs. Benefit: Achieve 500m powered connectivity at ~22% lower TCO than 2.5G models — perfect for large-scale rollouts across 100+ sites.
Integrated 1G Optical Transceivers (No Modules, No Mismatches)
All 24 PoF ports feature built-in 1G SFP optics, eliminating external transceivers, compatibility risks, and insertion loss. SC connectors ensure field-ready plug-and-play. Benefit: Reduce deployment time by 35%, cut spare-part inventory by 50%, and eliminate “why won’t it link?” calls caused by mismatched modules.
Enterprise L3 Intelligence — Without the Premium Price
Full Layer 3 routing (RIP/Static), DHCP services, VLANs (802.1Q/Private), QoS, and ACLs — same feature set as the 2.5G model. Benefit: Consolidate edge routing, firewalling, and segmentation into one device — replace 2,000+router+L2switchstackswithasingle 799 PoF switch.
Future-Ready Power Management
Schedule-based PoF control: set port-level priority, enable/disable on timers (e.g., after school hours), and cap per-port output (15W/24W/30W). Benefit: Meet energy efficiency mandates (e.g., ENERGY STAR, LEED BD+C), extend device lifespan, and reduce electricity costs in multi-building campuses.

Questions & Answers
1. What is a Gigabit PoF switch?
A Gigabit PoF (Power over Fiber) switch delivers 1G data + up to 30W DC power over a single SC-type hybrid optical cable, compliant with YD/T 4305.1-2023. Unlike PoE (which uses copper), it enables 500m powered connectivity with zero EMI risk — ideal for schools, hospitals, municipal buildings, and smart campuses where running AC power or copper is impractical or unsafe.
2. What devices can it power?
It powers 1G PoF-enabled endpoints, including PoF splitter, IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points (Wi-Fi 5/6), and IoT gateways — all equipped with an SC-type hybrid port. It does not power standard RJ45 PoE devices (e.g., conventional security cameras). Verify endpoint compatibility using our certified PoF device list.
3. Do I need special cables?
Yes — certified YD/T 4305.1-2023 hybrid optical cables with integrated power conductors and SC connectors. Standard fiber optic or Ethernet cables will not work. We supply pre-tested cables in 100m/300m/500m lengths with polarity and power-loss validation.
4. Is it a managed or unmanaged switch?
It’s a fully managed Layer 3 switch, supporting RIP/Static routing, VLANs (802.1Q, Private VLAN), QoS, ACLs, DHCP services, and enterprise security (802.1X, DoS protection). Manageable via Web GUI, CLI, SNMPv3 — no configuration limits.
5. Can it be deployed outdoors?
The switch itself is designed for indoor telecom closets or temperature-controlled environments (operating temp: 0°C–45°C). For outdoor endpoints (e.g., streetlight-mounted APs or traffic cameras), use certified PoF-compatible enclosures or pair with our upcoming industrial PoF media converters, rated for -40°C to +75°C.
