M12 Ruggedized Ports
The IES7231D-4PGE1GE-M12 features four M12 Ethernet ports designed for harsh environments. M12 connectors are ideal for applications in industries like transportation, railways, and factories due to their robust physical structure, ensuring secure data transmission even in environments prone to vibration, moisture, or dust. The M12 interface ensures that network connections remain stable and reliable, even under heavy stress, making it suitable for moving vehicles or equipment in motion.
PoE+ Power Delivery
Each of the four M12 ports supports PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at), providing up to 30W of power per port. This allows the M12 PoE switch to simultaneously deliver both data and power over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for additional power supplies. This feature is especially useful for devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and industrial sensors that require both power and data connectivity in environments where running separate power lines is difficult or costly.
Gigabit Uplink Port
In addition to the four M12 PoE ports, the IES7231D-4PGE1GE-M12 includes one Gigabit Ethernet uplink port.
